I have a hatchling DBT northern chesapeake and she is not doing well. She’s been eating every day never shown any signs of any health problems. I just took a look at my tank and noticed her on the bottom. I pulled her out only to see her lifeless. She moves and opens her mouth randomly then goes limp again. WHAT’S WRONG, PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
If your hatchling is still alive email ne at lisaannlee@… and I will help. Just went through this. Lisa — In diamondbackterrapins@yahoogroups.com, “plagueguitarist”
It’s possible it may have been drowning. If this is the case, holding the hatchling upside down and carefully pumping its front limbs helps to pump out excess water and restore respiratory function. Let us know! -Chun — In diamondbackterrapins@yahoogroups.com, “plagueguitarist”
