Hi group, I was wondering if anyone out there has any ideas about hibernating captive DBTs? What are the pros and cons? I am not heating my outdoor tubs this year so I expect all of my DBTs will go to sleep. In fact most of them are already. The temps. in my area have been in the low 40’s lately. Does anyone think that better fertility might be accomplished with hibernating. This year I had only 6 fertile eggs out of 26 layed and I did not let them hibernate/sleep last winter. Vickie
