Hi, I currently have two northern diamondback terrapins available that were/are rescues. They were given to me from someone who found them last winter in below freezing weather. I planned on releasing them back in the wild this spring but I cannot care for them until then (I’ll explain…continue reading). All were doing extremely well and I originally had 3 DBT’s but I just got home from a long stay at the hospital after major abdominal surgery and just learned that one of them died…reasons unknown but I have a feeling it was due to filtration failure and now I am in no shape to care for them; change water, medicate, etc, etc. The smaller one of the two needs care, but I’m not sure to what extent. The larger one is very healthy and beautiful. This breaks my heart and I do not wish to profit in any way from this so if you are interested, it must be sincere and you must promise to properly care for them. I am in south NJ and prefer pickup only. Please let me know if you can help or offer any advice on what to do. Thanks in advance.
