I need advice for stuff to buy!

It is getting colder and I’ll be taking my dbt in for the winter (she would be in a block of ice if I left her out here for an Iowa winter). She slows down in the winter quite a bit and she doesn’t move around much (though I am on the lookout for a bigger setup). Our pet shops around here charge an arm and a leg for really simple stuff, so I’m going to buy some stuff online. I have some things leftover from her set up last year (which is dire need of improvement): a 55 or 60 gallon tank crushed coral a bunch of airstones lights (UV and night time heat lamps) a really horrible pump and filter that needs cleaning every other day a cheap $7 tank heater I am hoping to get a new filter and pump and a new heater. The tank will have about 6-7 inches of water in it. She refuses to get out of the water and bask. Can anyone recommend a good filter and heater? I was looking at the Aquaclear 300 (but don’t know which pieces and parts to get from thatpetplace.com) and I am completely clueless on heaters for the water. She stays in our basement BTW. If I am missing the mark on supplies completely, please let me know (you’d tell me nicely, right?). Plus, I want to make it as economical as possible (blame it on the measly salary of a professor).
