hello all, I have a one year old dbt and am trying to give his tank a ‘makeover.’ I want to put live plants in his tank, but I’m not sure if some are toxic to terrapins. I also wanted to know if I should put some gravel or sand down for him. I have him in a small tank (maybe ten gallons) with a whisper junior filter, and the water gets cloudy fast. I am thinking about getting a bigger tank and filter, any advice would be greatly appreciated. (maybe I’m doing something wrong!) And last, if i should eventually get another turtle for him because he’s so full of energy, I think he needs someone to play with! Thank you so much, Amanda

Attachments : a bigger tank would be in order in my opinion, as for filters I use submersible Fluval’s and I get one that they say filters at least a size tank larger then what I am using. ——-Original Message——- From: littleamanda17 Date: 07/14/05 22:43:44 To: diamondbackterrapins@yahoogroups.com Subject: [diamondbackterrapins] Live Plants hello all, I have a one year old dbt and am trying to give his tank a ‘makeover.’ I want to put live plants in his tank, but I’m not sure if some are toxic to terrapins.
