Maryland job opportunities in turtle conservation, research, etc ???

(Note: I updated which yahoo account I wanted to use here, formerly jedivoodoo, I will be using this one from now on, we are one in the same) I know this is a long shot but I figured it was worth asking. I am a lifelong researcher of reptiles on a personal level with a professional background science but specifically in film & video. I know I would more then likely need a herpetology degree or at least one in environmental science or biology. I am hard working, energetic, quick to learn, and pretty much willing to do anything but have been stagnant in a construction office environment just to “pay the bills”. I do my creative stuff on a freelance basis but would love a fulltime career where I can not only do what I love but contribute to something I truly believe in which is conservation. I know a few of the conservation institutes are part of this group but probably rely mainly on volunteers. I don’t mind helping out in that way as well but would love to dedicate more of my time to such things (I work 60+ hrs a week right now doing something that is not who I am, haha). I know everyone is looking for a dream job like that, but I just feel I have a lot to contribute and would love to channel my time and energy into something I truly believe in. I’ve always said, sometimes all you need to do is ask and things have a way of working out, doors will open. Do any of you know of anyone in the field that needs help with their organization or something creative that relates to it?
