HI MIKE,MIGHT I SUGGEST THE HIKARI LINE OF FOOD FOR KOI, I FEED MY DBT THE EXCEL AND THE SPIROLINA WITH FANTASTIC RESULTS. WE TESTED MAZURI KOI FOOD AT OUR FISH FARM AND IT IS REALLY A POOR FOOD. I CANT IMAGINE THEIR TURTLE CHOW IS ANY BETTER.THEY LIKE TO USE LARGE QUANTITYS OF CORN IN THEIR FOOD AS A BINDER. SCOTTmpk172

Hi Scott, I would not say Mazuri is really poor food. It is formulated for turtles and I know many zoos and countless large turtle breeders that have been using it for many years. I have been using it for a year now and I love it. For the most part it has helped keep my diamondbacks from getting too fat, Aquamax/trout chow made several of my terrapins very over weight. I have never tried Hikari but I will look into it.
