For the past two days, one of the eyes is shut most of the time. There were two or three occasion where I saw it was opened, but it then became shut again. I don’t know if it’s a result of her recent move. It just moved to a new bigger tank in a new room. Then, again, it could be the winter or maybe a lack in vitamins. What can I do to help it?
One of my DBTs I had way back when, my first pet turtle, had closed eyes. It’s a vitamin deficiency. Add some more to it’s diet, and it’s eyes should stop closing. If they’re not all ready to the point when it can never open them that is. If it can no longer open it’s eyes on it’s own, it may need to have the vitamins adminstered by needle by a qualified vetenarian.
Is there a particular vitamins that I should concentrate on? Is there a vitamin tablet or something for turtles? Can I use human stuff?
