Hello All. Thank you, Susanne for the map and outline of your research. My experience has been with tortoises, but have wanted to keep diamond backs for some time. Jason Williamson has reserved 3 M.t. littoralis hatchlings that I plan to house in a 30 gallon tank. Mechanical/chemical filtration will be handled by a Fluval canister filter. Still looking for a source of cork bark that they can haul out on. Any thoughts on water temperatures? I keep the room temps at 80-85 F. Jim Floyd

Hi Jim, Howdy and welcome to the group! Check out this site for cork if you can’t find it locally: http://www.TheCorkStore.com Room temperature will be sufficient for your hatchlings. In fact, they should enjoy an accelerated growth rate at these temps provided they are well fed. All the best! -Chun
