hello every one I’m kinda new to this. i work in a pet shop in Michigan from the age of 13 to 18 I’m now 27 so i have been out of the pet thing for a bit. i got a diamondback wild caught just the other day and would like to set him up with a good home right now he is in a 20gal long tank witch i know is to small so if you could help me decide what to get him and a good way to set it up (plants, filters, etc.) i could use it. he is about 4 to 5 inches long not sure if it is male or female is there a easy way to tell other then buy size. i want to make sure he has the best home he could have. i live in the city and can’t put in a pond or i would. please help. i was thinking about a 75gal. tank or should i go bigger. i can’t go any bigger then 150gal and would like to keep it under 150 if i can but can do it if needed with no trouble. i caught him out fishing the other day snagged him in the foot some how and my son just loved him so i kept him. his foot is fine i can’t even see where he was hooked any more and no infections that is good took him to the vet first and had him checked out all is good now i just need to give him the best home i can. thank you all in advance for all the help.
