i have had my dbt for 11 years and he makes an odd clicking sond but ive never seen her do it until tonight.he closes his eyes shakes his head puffs his kneck up an clicks.what is that,and doese anyone els see thiers do this?thanks

Hi.. I was so shocked when I read this message.. Because my first Diamondback, started doing this noise too.. But not until after I had kept him for around twelve or thirteen years.. I thought it was something in his tank making the sound, but sure enough.. I finally discovered that it was in fact him..!

Very cool! Is it possible that it is a mating call? These guys must be pretty comfortable with their surroundings etc after 11-13 years. I wonder if this has ever been witnessed in the wild___ or if females make the noise as well?
