well, after much debating about filters i decided to go to petsmart to look around. i know for a fact that this turtle will be in the ten gallon for at least a month (after which i will have moved and have a 25 gallon tank waiting) so, i figured getting a small filter. i know this is against what every one of you have been telling me, but any filter is better than none right?! i got a biowheel made by penguin. it said in the box that it does all this stuff with bacteria starters and also filters the tank. i remember one of you telling me to get a bacteria starter. they were out of goldfish though. so i deepened her tank to about 5 inches and now she has a filter. i know that these turtles can take much deeper water, but i guess i am just nervous since i just got the her. also, i rearranged the basking area. so what do you think?
