I am thinking this is excellent news, and I want to mention it here in case it’s NOT a good thing. All four of my guys ate today … they ate gutloaded lobster roaches I raise here. I feed them to the other turtles and my lizards and frogs. They went crazy for them and I fed them each two (what slobs they are when they eat! LOL) and then thought I better ask you guys what you thought before I offered them more. I feed the roaches heavily on veggies and vitamin loaded pellets. The terrapins bite the heads off and then squish out the middles leaving the shells … I don’t think these roaches carry anything that could hurt the terrapins as all of my other reptiles and amps eat them and are fine, but then again, my other turtles can eat freshwater crabs too, whereas these guys can’t. Opinions? Thanks! Ang
