    Hi, We’re new to this site, and to Diamondback turtles. We currently have Razorback Musk turtles (who have no salt in their tank) and Fly River turtles (who live 100% of the time in tanks with salt added). We’ve found lots of great information on this site to assist us in preparing for the arrival of our first Diamondbacks. We have a question though for the people who add salt to their Diamondback tanks. Is it necessary to provide Diamondback turtles with fresh water for drinking if their tank water contains salt?
