I’ve treated a lot of tortoises and turtles and what you are describing is septicemia. It needs antibiotic therapy as soon as possible. I would use Amikacin as long as you keep the tort very well hydrated. Either IC or SC hydration is called for when using amikacin. I’m in Broward county so if you’re near and want more info email me off list. But whatever – don’t delay treatment!
