    Diamondbacks don’t use beaches for nesting, at least the ones I have observed. They use “hammocks”, naturally occurring areas of higher elevation in the salt marsh, or nearby high ground next to the tidal creeks where thay make their homes. These areas are subject to intense development, and are becoming increasingly rare. (People want a home on the “sound” or the “bay”, or whatever it is called in that particular region.)
