You could I guess BUT you would have to do something else for getting out of the water area since the ramp is built in. Julie Tougas wrote:

I have looked at this tub of Pete’s and it might work okay as a temporary holding tank for a gravid female that is close to laying. Especially if you have one that tends to drop eggs in the tank. 6″ of water won’t hurt for a little while and if she has access to a laying area on her own you might have more success than handling her every day putting her in a laying yard or whatever.
