Hi Chun, I was hoping you may have encountered a Cagles map in your adventure! They’re a beautiful smaller species of the maps. Sure is a good thing you didn’t let the kids bring it home. lol . Here’s a link to a pic of G.caglei if anyone is interested. http://www.graptemys.com/gcaglei.htm You’re definately right about P.texana being beautiful. There is a gal (Turdle) on Turtleforum.com that works/lives near a river where they, along w/ G.versa are plentiful. She has a great camera (luckily) and often posts pics from the field of them. They have become my favorite Psudemys. Here are some pics of P.texana & G.versa http://www.turtleforum.com/forum/upload/index.php?showtopic=42629 Did the Stinkpot’s have bold bright lines on their head or were they lacking? They seem to vary from the Northern to the Southern parts of their range further east. I bet that was a fun tubing trip! Keith Message: 1 Date: Sat, 11 Jun 2005 18:31:17 -0000 From: “Stephen Chew”
