I am very interrested in the possibility of doing some volunteer work. Can you give me an idea of what I would be helping with and on what type of schedual? Also can you give me an idea on the prices of those cheap hotels? As for adaptivity. I have no idea what my salinity is, but its probably not that high. Since she has been in freshwater for at least the past 3 months, she has gotten very swollen around her neck and legs ( water retention?) My other ltc and CB also do this. Her only problem is a small circular patch on each paw where the skin has been rubbed off from constant rubbing on the bottom of her previous ‘bucket’ home. She has yet to start eating. She does not even show interrest in smelt, snails, live golfish and live worms. I hope to buy some shrimp tomorrow. I also force fed her a few days ago to try and jump start her metabolism. I have also started a round of metronidazole to help balance her digestive flora. Do you have any treatment protocols for DBT’ s that have been recetly rescued form the markets?
