Hi Keith….. We are in southern Calif. in the Orange County area. Just about 10 mins. north of Angel Stadium ~ Edison Field ~Anaheim Stadium or whatever it is being called these days! Today was not as hot as the last couple of days but it is still plenty warm for me. I like to ease into a spring time before being hit with summer! I do not share my reptiles desire for hot conditions……… On the Sulcata Station they were just commenting about how some parts of the country are covered in snow with low digit temps……. Forget how nice we sometimes have it here. ^:^ Makes the turtles and torts happy…… I really have to admire some of the people that keep turtles/tortoises in snow country. Especially the one’s that keep non-hibernating turtles/torts……. Sulcatas come to mind – What a job that has to be!! I can not even begin to think of what it would be like….. and the cost of it all! I hold my breath as it is when I open our electric bill…. anything over $300.00 I am having heart palpitations!! lol………. This year we added a good size gas bill to our monthly expenses as we now have other reptiles that need warmth and turning up the heater was a good way of accomplishing that. My hubby was happy ……. this year I wasn’t telling him to add another layer of clothing if he was cold!! The house stayed toasty warm this winter……. he was loving it. ^ : ^ Sharon The Turtlenutz….
