    I keep my hatchlings and adults at the same temperature as you, about (82). I’ve had a lot of luck with my hatchlings keeping the water nice and warm. What kind of light are you using? Mine are more inclined to bask under an incadescent light rather than a florescent. Also, I have one who is real picky about what kind of rocks he’ll bask on. Anyone else experience this? Vincent
