My DBT recently had bright red nostrils. It lasted about 3 days andis just now starting to fade. I think it may have something to dowith rubbing her face on the glass and on the bottom of the turtledock, but I’m not sure. It is looking a lot better now but in case ithappens again, I was hoping someone might know a little more about it. Thanks!!Here’s a pic (this was 2 days ago):Piglet’s nose

Melanie, It was funny looking at piglet’s nose as I too was very concerned when my DBT nose looked exactly the same. We took a trip cross contry in the car and my DBT was in a plastic reptile container. It took me a few days to figure it out I was wondering if the air conditioner in the car dried the air out too much or it was too cold but we finally caught him smashing his nose against the top of the container trying to get the lid off. Sure enough once we got him settled, no more red nose. Took about 2-3 days for it to goo away. I’m pretty sure it’s just from rubbing since he didn’t seem bothered by it at all and there was no discharge. Hope it helps… jason
