Plants that will tolerate salt may be tough to find… I would recommend posting your question at: http://aquabotanicwetthumb.infopop.cc/6/ubb.x?a=cfrm&s=4006090712 The folks on this list know a ton about aquatic plants. You may want to search the existing posts before making your own post. This site is a database on tropical plants (mostly all freshwater oriented but still a nice resource). http://192.38.244.204/go.asp?show=products Also, there is an article on plants in turtle tanks on Austin’s web site. http://www.austinsturtlepage.com/Articles/plantedturtletanks.htm However, it, like most of the information relating to aquarium plants it is oriented to freshwater setups. I keep my turtles in freshwater and java fern works well. It has leathery leaves so it can take a lot of physical abuse. Otherwise, I don’t think dbt’s are too interested in eating plants (others might disagree). A lot of turtle people think plants can’t be kept with turtles. I think that if you have a large tank and some pretty tough plants then you’ll succeed. If in doubt go plastic. Kurt
