Attachments :Joe, I hate to break it to ya, but even the first one has a couple of additional scutes. See attached pic. Nevertheless, a very nice turtle – I’m sure there would be numerous inquiries about it if it weren’t scheduled for release next year! Jonathan the Scute Moderator has also encountered similar situations with his incubation setup. His thermometer read ~5F lower than the actual temperature resulting in a large number of his hatchlings exhibiting scute malformations.
