shedding skin/basking

I don’t think you have anything to worry about. Sounds very, very normal to me! When mine were younger (or even now), if they end up basking for just an hour a day, I was happy! That’s plenty long to dry out real good as long as you’ve got a nice basking area where they can get their entire body out of the water (including their legs and feet). Also, the shedding of their skin is normal for any young, growing turtle like yours. —- DonatelloDiamond
