One of my hatchlings has a white bump just below the beak. It almost looks like food’s stuck there. I have a bottle of Nolvasan. Recommended dilution and treatment? BTW, this lesion appeared over the weekend. The hatchling is active and a hearty eater.

Try scraping it off and soaking for 10min a day in a 10% soln. or less concentrated. Make sure it is not just an injury or he may just be shedding his skin.

Are you sure that it is not the egg tooth? Julie bassethound@… wrote:

I anticipated that question yet forget to preempt it. No, it’s not an egg tooth. BTW, this hatchling is at least 3-4 mos old, and his littermate has no egg tooth or matching mark / lesion.
