hello, i am hoping someone could help me with two problems i am having with the maintenance of my tank. 1. i have recently developed a problem with alage buildup…. any tips on controlling it? 2. lyme/salt deposits? above water line on the glass. what could i clean the glass with that will not hurt my dbts…………………. …………………..i would appreciate any feedback ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,thanks, mary
You could use vinegar for cleaning glasses. I think it’s perfect because it’s not toxic and it works very well. Try it! Bye
& I’d try a catfish for the algae, I’ve got one in my tank and it works wonders. There are several different kinds , but I would recommend a Pleco (Ancistrus sp.) or an Oto (Otocinclus sp.)
