well, since i found my dbt about a week ago (she about a us quarter size) i have 10 gallon tank and the all other nessesities. i have a few questions. first: how fast do the grow. second: i am planing on getting a 60-70 gallon breeder tank for her, and i am thinking of planting it with some plants… i was wondering, i know this is dumb, but will she eat them and if yes, what kind. and also are there plants which she wont eat? and which will you suggest. and i have been browsing lots of sites to find out more about dbt, but what is their whole diet. mine eats baby pellets and guppies for now, what else can i spoil her with?

Attachments : Live rosey, comets, crickets, Mazuri Turtle diet, Aqua Max, or Reptimin, Dried meal worms & shrimp. I also dust the fish and crickets with a calcium powder, When they are in the outside pond I have water hyisians that the eat the roots of, I know there is a calcium plant you can use to can’t remember the name but I find plants in the tanks make more algae and calls for even more tank cleanings I prefer to feed outside the tank in a small container. In captivity at a year my males are from 4″ to 4 3/4″ in length.
