This is one of our terrapins salvaged from the market. We tagged and released at various points in the Severn River and elsewhere. This terrapin, apparently struck by a boat prop or car, was brought to Dr. Gens for emergency treatment. Dr. Gens, chief trauma surgeon – University of Maryland Medical Center and Severn River resident, to the rescue. Dr. Gens and wife Dr. VerElst (OBGYN) join the Terrapin Research Consortium this year. Daughter Jen Gens assisted with terrapin research this season. Marguerite WhildenThe Terrapin InstituteP. O. Box 501Grasonville, MD. 21638410 370 9171410 757 9268 Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
