I looked in the incubator today and saw that 2 of the 7 eggs have begun cracking open. I can barely see inside them but I do see the eye of one of the terrapins inside and movement from both of the eggs/terrapins. In general, how long will it take from the time I see the first crack in the egg until the hatchling is completely out? Also, will the others follow soon if they are fertile? Or this not always the case? I am by no means planning on handling the eggs or terrapins until they are well out of the egg shell. Can anyone give me any advice as to what to do next? I have raised many hatchlings over the years but never any that I have incubated myself. The ones that I have raised were always at least old enough to eat on their own and swim well by the time I got them. I am guessing to keep them in shallow water at first. thanks, Jason __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
