hello, i’m new here! I was wondering if anyone have any terrapins for sale right now? Preferably a female ornate, a hatching would be okay as well. any info would be helpful! thanks!

Ornates are probably the hardest one’s to find in the hobby…… and an adult female is probably going to be the hardest to find. Occasionally we see hatchling ornates for sale but I doubt you’ll see any available during the winter. Waiting to early spring and asking again might be your best bet. If you are looking for a pet maybe a northern as they are readily available for sale and also very beautiful. Michaela
ya, i figured. But i already have a 4 year old ornate male (i hope he’s ornate, sometimes i wonder if he’s mixed) that i got as a hatchling, so i was hoping to add another turtle to keep him company.
Interesting do you remember who you bought yours from? If you want you can post up a picture of your ornate and we can help you ID him just to make sure you do have an ornate or a mix. Michaela
