Tex and shell rot???

Hi! Well it turns out I don’t have to sell Tex. I would have liked to have gotten a nice white dbt, but I guess it could have been worse. I needed to sell him so that I could afford a different turtle, but I found a really nice inexpensive N.A. wood turtle that I’m going to see today. So I can afford it and keep Tex. 😀 I can’t sell Tex anyway because he has something on his shell that I just noticed today. I’m wondering if it’s shell rot? What does shell rot look like? It’s kinda an off white color. I looked closer there are some smaller white spots. About the size of a flee. The biggest patch is the size of his smallest schute. Thanks! ~Candace~
