    thanks for the advice. i didn’t know gold fish would be okay in slat water. i put only about 3 teaspoons of salt and only have about 2 gallon of water in the tank. i wanted to see how she would do before i put more water in the tank. i had a hard time finding good material for a basking area since it has to be built up, but also easily assesible for the terrapin. it is hard to make a basking area that isn’t steep. do you have any ideas on that? also, when the water is deep, does the basking area just need to start at water level? has anyone used those manufactured basking areas that have suction cups to stick them to the side of the glass?? do i get really small goldfish?–Lindsay p.s. – i only have one diamondback (northern. and i am only trying to find the most stress free ways to feed her since she was just now shipped to me (a few hours ago she arrived)
