Can someone explain the logic behind the number addressing often seen in ads for people selling turtles. For example: 0.0.1 snapping turtle 0.2.2 concentric diamonback etc. Cheers,
(#males).(#females).(#babies or unknown sex)
Those number are ratios, the first number is the # of males, the 2nd # is the # of females, and the last # is the # of unknown sex (hatchlings for example). For example 4.7.10 means 4 males, 7 females and 10 hatchlings or undetermined sex. ,Jason — ingsy
