Hello All, I’m moving very soon from Maryland to Illinois. I’m going to be working at a job where I’ll be traveling too much to take care of a pair of male Northern Diamondbacks. Thus, I would like to find someone who is willing to take them in and take care of them or reintroduce them back into the wild (I don’t think dumping them into a brackish swamp automatically will do). Their history: They are a pair of Northern Diamondbacks that are about 2 years old. They were accidently dug up out of a garden near Rehoboth beach, Delaware in the winter and I just took care of them from the time they were the size of quarters (I know about the legal laws…blah, blah blah, but they would have died otherwise if I left them there exposed and I did a better job than any nature center I’ve seen in my area). They are about 5 inches across now. They eat pellets eagerly and they were raised in fresh water only. They are very active and in excellent health. Conditions for those who take them: I live in Prince George’s County, Maryland just off the Capital Beltway. If you are interested in them, you must call at 301-499-3087. You must take both. I will not mail them under any circumstance and you must pick them up by Wednesday. I will be home at all hours so if you are interested it shouldn’t be a problem. It would be best to call as it’s first come, first serve and I don’t check this email account all that often. I don’t really want to see them go, but due to circumstances I like to see them to go to a good home where someone can take good care of the brothers or somehow reintroduce them back to the wild.
