What is the safe procedure for the use of Betadine (povidone-iodine solution) for terrapins for treatment of SCUD and shell/skin problems? Can the turtle be submerged in it for any length of time? Will it hurt their eyes? Is the 10% (equivalent to 1% available iodine) solution that Betadine and generic equivalents come in safe to use as is or should it be diluted? Todd
