Water depth for breeding

    Read once that 18 inches was perhaps the minimum depth for DBTs to mate in. Any suggestions? Dick

    Hi Dick, I would have to disagree with that depth. Many populations congregate for mating purposes in shallow water. In the wild, I have seen courting take place in ankle deep water. -Stephen C — In diamondbackterrapins@yahoogroups.com, “Dick Biondi”
