#ygrps-yiv-694242863 p {margin:0;}I am curious about what ph people keep their terrapin water. I have read that a lower ph will keep the rot from becoming a problem, but that other people say that they are used to a higher ph in the wild. I was wondering if people who keep it higher have more of a problem with skin and shell problems, even if they keep up with their water changes. Thanks, Kate in California

I keep mine at neutral pretty much what my city tap is at. I have never had any shell rot …. nothing but strong healthy shells. michaela

Thanks for the response. I forgot to include fresh/salted/or brackish water in the survey, as I am sure that would also make a difference.Kate
