Hi all, I’m new to the group . Don’t have any terrapins yet, still doing research…. I’ve scanned a lot of the old posts. and been following the new ones for a while. But haven’t seen this exact toppic… I know the diamondbacks need a basking site (About 80-84 dgrees?) But at what temp should the water in the main tank be kept??? will these guys do ok at an ambient temp of around 64 degrees? That is aprox. the year round temp in my basement where they would spend the winter months in a 125 gal. tank…. Thanks in advance for the input, Dave

The perfect water-temperature I think it’s 25_C or 81_ degrees and I keep it always constant. My basking sites are 28-30_C or 90-98_degrees and I leave my animals to decide if stay “under the sun” or not. Bye.
