What’s different between northern with carolinan ? and I post my diamonback’s photo in the Photos. anyone could tell me what kind of subspecies it is ?
Hi, That is a dark phased Northern. There are slight differences between both subspecies. Most Centratas have orange plastrons and whiter skin. Northerns can also have orange plastrons but normally they have off white plastrons. Northerns also normally have more of a light gray skin color and rare do they have bright white skin. I hope this helps, Jonathan http://www.diamondbackterrapin.com_Ǖ__p_Ǖ___Ǖ__
