Wild Adults- Brackish vs Fresh?

Hi … I’m new to the group. I have a question about WC Northern DBTs. I have a setup (70 gallon tank) which I can set up as brackish or salt. My understanding is that WC adults should be kept in brackish water. I’m wondering if, for the summer months, these turtles could be moved to an outdoor freshwater enclosure, and given salt baths one or two days a week. Would this stress the animals out too much? And would a 2 day bath counter the effects of fresh water for the summer months? Thanks
